🧩 FRAGMENTATION ✂️
Recently, I’ve been working (and I’m still working, among other things) on the theme of fragmentation, splintering… and always with an eye to graphics and style.
What interests me in this idea of fragmentation, which I had already experimented with with the Tangram frame, is the idea that the traditional support, the canvas, is deconstructed along with the image inscribed on it. But that the pieces reunited form a new iconography that is nonetheless recognisable.
A kind of illustration of the trials of life that can damage us and which, as they heal, form a new identity.
